Oklahoma Highway Patrol, along with Sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement, were positioned near County Road 76 and Post Road believing they were close to finding LeForce in the area.
Logan County, Oklahoma deputy David Wade is being remembered and honored across the state after he was shot to death while serving an eviction notice Tuesday morning.
The deputy was shot at least three times, once in the face, authorities said.
A manhunt is now underway for LeForce, who allegedly stole a vehicle and fled the scene in a gray 2010 Mazda with Oklahoma license plate AEN-616.

Devereaux confirmed that Nathan Aaron LeForce, 45, the suspect in the fatal shooting, was taken into custody.

Wade was able to return fire, but Devereaux didn't say whether LeForce was hit.
However, the suspect has not been taken into custody.
He was taken to OU Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and later died. Nearby schools were placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
LeForce was found in an outbuilding near Guthrie, where he surrendered to authorities, Oklahoma Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. John Vincent said.
The Oklahoma City Police Department shared their "deepest condolences" to Wade's family on Twitter.
