Scaramucci tweeted Wednesday night that he plans to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department to investigate a "leak" of his financial disclosure information, which he called a "felony".
Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker then tweeted that he could confirm Scaramucci wanted the FBI to investigate Preibus for leaking.
He then began this speech, saying that he's interviewed most of the people in the White House and that "the president and I would like to tell everybody, we have a very, very good idea of who the leakers are, who the senior leakers are in the White House".
"The fact is that we just have to cut down on people thinking it's cute and makes them popular, and it somehow enhances their resume and their portfolio for later on, to curry favor with folks who are more interested in covering the style and not the substance here", she said.
"In light of the leak of my financial disclosure info which is a felony".
Asked by text on Wednesday night whether he was blaming Mr. Priebus for the release of the financial disclosure form, Mr. Scaramucci did not respond - although he did respond to another question.
Lizza said that Scaramucci tried to go around Priebus to talk to Trump, and later blamed Priebus "for cancelling three scheduled meetings with the president" before Scaramucci was eventually hired as communications director.
Xbox One X Console to Be Available for Pre-Order Soon
For streamers there's some good news as Xbox boss Phil Spencer told Ybarra that, "USB is coming and that includes web cams". Over on Twitter , an eager beaver asked Xbox boss Phil Spencer about pre-orders - specifically when they'd be open.
"I don't like the activity going on in the White House", Scaramucci added.
The financial disclosure forms, however, are publicly available, notes the Politico report, which links to them. The rot, he suggested, is coming from the chief of staff: "When I put out a tweet and I put Reince's name in the tweet, [journalists] are all making the assumption that its him because journalists know who the leakers are. So, if Reince wants to explain that he's not a leaker, let him do that".
The CNN interview was not the first time Scaramucci and Priebus' tense relationship has come out.
Exactly one thing, and one thing only, is clear from this interview, and it's that Trump is likely quite happy with his new communications director.
President Trump has said that leaks from the White House are a national security threat and must stop.
Trump has also publicly denounced leaks of unflattering revelations about his team, which is deeply embroiled in an FBI investigation of Russia's meddling in the 2016 U.S. election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign. "I will be contacting @FBI and the @TheJusticeDept, he tweeted Wednesday night, adding, "#swamp @Reince45". Despite this, however, he said that President Donald Trump was not responsible for any of the leaks that occur from within the White House.
