Navy and Marine Corps divers found the remains in the sealed compartments aboard the McCain, said Swift, commander of the Pacific Fleet. In addition to the 10 missing sailors, the US Navy said five were injured in the collision. Divers had started assessing the warship's damaged hull, it said. Naval ships from Singapore and Malaysia were aiding the U.S. Navy in a massive search that was continuing Tuesday, Swift said.
The admiral did not rule out some kind of outside interference or a cyber-attack being behind the latest collision, but said he did not want to prejudge the inquiry. "We can not confirm the identification of the body", Malaysian Navy said in a statement. The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency said it had deployed more than 500.
This is the fourth major collision in the Pacific this year.

The series of accidents in the Pacific "demands more-forceful action", Adm. John Richardson, the chief of naval operations, told reporters Monday, adding that there is "great cause for concern that there is something we are not getting at".
He said the navy would conduct an investigation "to find out if there is a common cause. and if so, how do we solve that".
