Disney World in Orlando, Florida is following Hurricane Irma that ripped through the state this weekend and continues to make her way into the US. The Magic Kingdom was also closed for part of the day October 24, 2005 for Hurricane Wilma.
After being closed for two full days due to Hurricane Irma, Universal Orlando Resort has announced the official reopening of all three parks on Tuesday, September 12 at 9 a.m. "We hope to resume normal operations on Tuesday, September 12".
And by the looks of these photos, park employees took major precautions to preserve the magic from potential damage.
Disney resort hotels remained open during Irma, but the parks were closed Sunday and Monday.
