The station house officer at Vivek Vihar police station in east Delhi was transferred soon after picture with self-styled god woman Radhe Maa seated in his office chair was surfaced in social media on Thursday.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Nupur Prasad told IANS that an inquiry had been ordered into the "unprofessional conduct" of Station House Officer Sanjay Sharma of Vivek Vihar police station. She was seen sitting in the chair of the SHO while the officer stood next to her with folded hands. Delhi police has sent four cops to district line and suspended SHO and one Assistant Sub-inspector Braj Bhushan. Sanjay Sharma said that the followers of Radhe Maa mentioned that she wanted to visit the washroom. Dressed in her traditional attire with trident in her hand, Radhe Maa can be enjoying the song. "Excuse being given that Radhe Maa was in the police station for security concern holds no ground".
Pathak said the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police at Shahdara will probe both the incidents.
As per reports, she had come to attend a Ramleela and due to heavy crowd gathering around, SHO Sharma took her to the police station. "As for the shawl that he was seen wearing, a follower had put it over him", the devotee claimed.
